The Climate Change Discussion Paper

The Climate Change Discussion Paper

Northern Territory Government released The Climate Change Discussion Paper. The Discussion Paper outlines the effects of climate change in the Northern Territory and the work currently being done to address it. The paper is seeking feedback on this, as well as for informing the development of a Northern Territory Climate Change strategy.

The Paper focuses on several key areas where input is sought on how the Northern Territory
should:

                  – manage its greenhouse gas emissions effectively

                  – adapt to climate change

                  – take opportunities for innovative approaches to mitigation and adaptation.

Please make sure you have your say and send in a ‘written submission’. The ‘Have your Say’ question options are extremely limited. We will be providing some suggested dot points in the coming weeks to support your submission. Submissions are due in on the 30th November.
