The Northern Territory Government has released its much anticipated Discussion Paper regarding the Climate Change Strategy. The Discussion Paper outlines the effects of climate change in the Northern Territory and the work currently being done to address these challenges. The Paper seeks feedback on this, as well as for informing the development of a Northern Territory Climate Change strategy.

ECNT welcomes the release of the Paper and this opportunity for the NT community to provide input into a climate change strategy. The Environment Centre NT will be drafting a submission which will be made available to members.

Below we have provided you with some suggested recommendations and answers that can be used to support you in preparing a response to the Northern Territory Government’s (NTG) Climate Change Discussion Paper. These have been provided by Climate Scientist Ellin Lede and include the best available scientific evidence.
