Environment Centre NT We were established in 1983 and have played a crucial role in improving environmental protection and management throughout the Northern Territory, Australia. We are the peak non-government environment group in the Territory. Landcare and Friends Groups

Casuarina Coastal Reserve Landcare Group: The Casuarina Coastal Reserve Landcare Group manages one revegetation area in the dunes 200m north of the last Daribah Road car park. We have another site accessible from Rocklands Drive 200m behind the sewer pumping station at the start of the mangrove board walk. We meet monthly on the third Sunday around 8.30 at one of the sites to plant, water, remove weeds, birdwatch...aiming to enjoy being in the natural habitats of the Reserve. Facebook:   Friends of East Point Inc Established in 2007 to re-establish and maintain the East Point Breezeway as a natural habitat to attract and retain local wildlife, and for enjoyment by the local community.  FoEP revegetate to enhance the biodiversity of a unique area of urban open woodland that is adjacent to a sedge wetland, mangrove forest, salt pan and Ludmilla Creek.  Preventing fires and reducing weeds are the major problems faced by the small group as well as desperately needing more helping hands to assist. FoEP aim to connect a local “green corridor” with the Ludmilla Creek Landcare in the near future.   Friends of Mitchell Creek Catchment Landcare Group Inc. Our Friends Group works to protect the biodiversity of Mitchell Creek through advocacy and community engagement. CDU school of Environment CDU's School of Environment is responsible for quality higher education teaching and research in environmental and science fields.
