Environment Centre NT - protecting nature, living sustainably, creating climate for a change

Annual 2017 Fundraising Film Night

The Environment Centre NT will hold the Annual Fundraising Film Night and our special guest Professor Tim Flannery has agreed to open the event.

We have chosen to screen the documentary The Bentley Effect about a successful community opposition to fracking in Northern New South Wales.

Synopsis: A timely story of how a community’s heroic stand against fracking became one of the fastest growing social movements ever witnessed. This film celebrates a rare and inspiring win over corporate interests and asks “what is truly valuable?”
